Okotoks Stingrays 2010 Coaches
Head Coach: Brandon Gonzales (Coaching Seniors and Mantarays)
Brandon swam competitively from the age of five to 16 and has coached and taught swimming lessons for several years since. His successful coaching career to date includes a handful of provincial records and gold medal winners with the Merritt Swim Club. Brandon also coaches for the High River Tigers Swim Club and is excited to be with the Okotoks Stingrays this summer. Brandon believes in teaching technique above all else concentrating on lots of drills and short sets.
Assistant Coach: Brittany Gadzosa (Coaching Eaglerays A and Makos)
Brittany has been with the Okotoks Stingrays for 10 years (5 years as a swimmer and 5 years as a coach). Brittany has also coached previously for the Calgary Dolphins and Foothills Stingrays Swim Clubs and is currently enrolled in the Pedagogy Program at the University of Calgary (geared towards teaching physical education).
Assistant Coach: Jennie Piche (Coaching Eaglerays B and Nurse Sharks)
Jennie is back for her third season with the Stingrays and looking forward to another successful swim season.Jennie has been a swim instructor, lifeguard, and a swim coach for the past 13 years at the Okotoks and High River pools. She will be working with the younger swimmers with three goals in mind: stroke technique, endurance and giving the swimmers a positive experience on a swim team.
